Title: About Social Anxiety and Schools (Information Resource)

Description: Social anxiety involves more than shyness. It is about being extremely anxious in social situations, and often is called social phobia. With the publication of fifth edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5), social phobia is now formally diagnosed as Social Anxiety Disorder (SAD). This resource highlights causes and effects and explores how school-based interventions can help address the problem.
