The Prevention Research Center of Pennsylvania State University (http://www.prevention.psu.edu) announces the availability of an research scientist position in the area of implementation and dissemination research within the PROSPERNet Project. The overarching purpose of the PROSPERNet project is to develop the infrastructure and capacity for expanded implementation of the PROSPER Model to new states. Specifically, this will include: (1) developing a process for selecting and assisting states that are ready for infrastructure development and capacity building toward Model implementation and (2) developing the capacity of a PROSPER Network Team for Scientific and EBI Implementation Support to work with these states. The candidate will work with Mark Greenberg, Daniel Perkins, Mark Feinberg and the team of researchers from Iowa State.

Research Associate/Project Coordinator sought to play pivotal role in a longstanding longitudinal study examining the development of antisocial behavior and drug use among a cohort of 300 boys from low-income backgrounds. The current project, funded by NIDA (2009-2014), will follow the cohort initially recruited during infancy during early adulthood, examining genetic, brain (i.e., fMRI), and social influences on antisocial behavior and drug use, as well as adaptive social outcomes.
